Cover requires a lot of strength to close

Requires a lot of pressure to completely make the cover snap closed. If you are weak or not very heavy you may not be able to close the cover to vacuum seal. My friend bought the identical one and was going to return it, until I told her to put her whole body weight into closing the cover. I cannot say enough good things about this unit! It out-performs all other brands of vacuum sealers! A vacuum sealer is THE ONE kitchen appliance that pays for itself. didn't like

Didn't HV a bag cutter also not enough strong vacuum power. Returned sealer but to my surprise shipper charged me $49.67 which I thought was way too high so I will not buy from them again!! thanks so much forLire l'avis complet...

Great Sealer!

One of the only sealers that reach a true vacuum before sealing.
I purchase bulk rolls of bags in 6", 8", and 11" widths, and can seal up just about anything.

Vacuum

It does a great job in vacuuming. The top part the closes down to start the process is hard to close all the way. But once closed, it does a great job. I also use the hose to vacuum zipper bags. That to does a great job.
The vacuum unit is heavy, which is good and not some light weight cheap unit. It seems to pull a lot of air out of bags which would be better for the food.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent vacuum sealer for the money!

I just received this vacuum sealer, tried it out and it works great! I sealed some coffee to start with to see about the vacuum force and all the air was quickly pulled out of the bag. Vacuum was fast, not a lot of noise and sealed quickly as well. Very happy so far with this vacuum sealer and about half the price of the newest model. Shipping was fast and I will enjoy sealing and freezing a lot of the smoked meats and other items I plan to use with this vacuum sealer! A+Lire l'avis complet...
