Watchmen, a graphic novel comes to your television

Watchmen stars Billy Crudup (Mission: Impossible III), Jackie Earle Haley (The Bad News Bears), and Matthew Goode (Chasing Liberty).

This is a dark story of an alternate america where a bunch of retired super heros set out to discover who murdered one of their kind. Along the way the discover they are all on the endangered list as someone (or something) wants to rid the world of all superheroes.

The movie is pretty dark in that it has a lot of adult type situations that may be unsuitable for younger viewers so you may want to pass on this if you have younger viewers who will watch it.

If you are into the comic book superhero type magazines, like The Dark Knight, you will absolutely love this movie as it is entertaining. The only drawback is it is rather long.

Watchmen is a must watch.

For any fan of comic or graphic novel books Watchmen is a must see movie. It is not your typical Hollywood does Ironman for example flick but it is instead thoughtful with a dark seedy underside. The direction is awesome. The soundtrack is great. The characters really come to life howewver troubled and dogged their existance may be.
Observe the R rating this movie is not for kids unless you want to explain why one of the main characters walks around with nothing on but a blue glow.
I found this DVD on Ebay at a great price so grabbed it.Lire l'avis complet...

Fun

My husband and I both enjoyed this movie a lot! It is long though, so allow enough time for viewing.

WATCHMEN; DIRECTOR'S CUT DVD

This is the double DVD Watchmen version of the Director's cut. 24 minutes of added footage that helps to clarify characters and their actions. I felt the movie that was distributed in the cinema was very satisfying but with the added scenes it shed's more light on the superheroes lives and the ramifications of their actions.
