This is a must have !!!

This is an AMAZING collection of cartoon shorts with Pluto. What is nice is it includes other characters such as Mickey, Donald and Goofy and other non-named dog characters. My personal favorites is "Pluto and the quintuplets" and the "Sleepwalker." The beautiful part is these are TIMELESS classic cartoons. My child now can watch the same cartoons I watched as a child and she is MESMERIZED by these DVDs. She is 5 and sat through the whole first DVD and wanted to put on the 2nd one!! This kept her attention very well and it is clean, good humor & No commercials.. I HIGHLY recommend this set for anyone with or without a child. There are a lot of cartoons on here, hours and hours of Pluto!!! wish I could afford the second volume but for some reason it is more then double the price of this one. :SLire l'avis complet...

Pluto: Top Dog!

I bought this dvd on eBay because you can no longer purchase it on the Disney website. It is a fascinating look into the beginnings of Pluto at the Disney studios, and the cartoons are just amazing and oh-so fun! Leonard Maltin is a decent narrator for the prelude to the cartoons and for the Bonus sections. I especially enjoyed the history behind Pluto as shown from Walt Disney's perspective, his love of dogs, and the way he saw Pluto as almost a "silent film star" - there was no dialog needed for Pluto (except for the occasional howl or bark), everything had to be expressed through his face and his actions.
This dvd is a must for people who love Pluto like I do - for collectors and afficinados alike. Pluto is definitely THE top dog!Lire l'avis complet...

Pluto is my fave!!

Pluto is my favorite Disney character, so I was delighted to watch these favorites!! A few were even new to me, probably given the fact that I was born well after they appeared on the big screen and they probably weren't shown on television or included in video/DVD/Blu-ray form. Disney's pluto

Always loved the old Disney cartoons and this fit the bill. Especially since you can't find them on TV or priced reasonable on dvd.

Great Walt Disney As Usual

As usual Disney did a great job of what Disney does best. As Walt Disney always asked of the Disney group he would say "what can we do to plus it"? They did! Pluto Gets Praise!

These are cartoons of Pluto! He doesn't often get the praise he deserves. Here he is on limited edition numbered Disney treasure tins. His cartoons are cute--although like Chronological Donald 1 --they are in black and white. Nevertheless they are adorable and funny.
