Great music but...

The music is great. However there is a strange static over all of the music. Like air flow over a microphone almost? Almost as if it was recorded on a tape while someone was watching the film. While I will always love the music, and am very happy with my purchase and the people I purchased from, I did expect better from the soundtrack itself. The strange air static is very distracting from the music. And this is a disk in perfect condition, so it's not the cd. I may end up purchasing the songs featured on the soundtrack again elsewhere so I can listen to them in better quality.Lire l'avis complet...

Great selection but low quality sound

The music selection on the 2 discs is wonderful...but unfortunately the sound quality is not what it should be.

The notes mention the sound has been "carefully cleaned and restored"...but on a mid tier stereo system the sound is best described as dull and flat. All the original tape hiss may have been removed...but so has any sort of spark or life. This would be best enjoyed thru a "boombox" or in a vehicle where missing "airy" top end and lack of dynamics would not be as noticeable.Lire l'avis complet...

Amazing soundtrack!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I miss my words to describe what i feel about this amazing soundtrack longbox!!! The condition is much better that i could imagine!!!! I couldn't be happiest!!!!! Thank you so much Oxford!!!
