Some teachings of the wisdom of Lakota elders.

This book was written by a Lakota elder and member of the Rosebud Sioux tribe.

It is about his experiences growing up and the knowledge gained from them, and wisdom that was passed down from his grandfather through story and myth.
He teaches that learning is a lifetime endeavor, and that life's gift to us is wisdom, and that is the one gift that must be given back. He reminds us of the ever present examples of the circle of life throughout our travels.

Now at the age of his grandfather he realizes the profoundness of his lessons.
Through this book he is returning his gift.

This inspiring read will be referred to again and again for it's special message.

Walking With Grandfather by Joseph Marshall (2005)

Out of all his books (which all all great) this is one of my favorites. I have read and reread it and I get something new each time. I know I'll always refer back to it because of all the examples that are taught. Thank You Joseph Marshall III for all your books I read them all several times. Great teachings.

Love all books by Joseph Marshall

great book and I bought it because I remember walking with my grandfather and the talks we had. The wisdom of the native Americans is something that the white men should have listen to and should listen to nowLire l'avis complet...
