An alternative use

The electronics are usable Lightning based iPhones via a lightning to 30 pin adapter.
The actual electronics in the case are quite compact and fairly easy to remove via a few screws. The micro USB board is connected to the ANT+ board via some wires and you need to be careful not to rip them apart. Once you have both removed, you can use the bare boards to have an ANT+ key and be able to charge your phone at the same time (something you cannot do with the Wahoo Fitness ANT+ key).
This is NOT a waterproof setup but it is nice to have the ability to connect ANT+ sensors to my 6S even if it needs to stay in a waterproof pack in bad weather.
