Decent old-school mixer

I had one of these back in the 80's which I used to do remote broadcasts for a radio station where I worked. This one has problems with one of the switches that occasionally drops out the left channel...it looks like at one point there was tape over the switch to hold it in place but the tape was removed before the sale. Still, it's nice to have it again. I will be using it to set up an internet radio station.Lire l'avis complet...

Great desktop mixer

I was trying to find a good mixer for a few different sources (turntable, tap deck, PC/Chromecast Audio), to run into a desktop tube amplifier set up. Most of the new gear is cost rpohibitive (one of the reasons I like ebay), so when I found this, I jumped on it. The one drawback, is that I have yet to find a working PSU (the unit is battery powered, so don't leave it on). Pre-amps work great for turntables, and the tape input can be used for a couple of things besides tape. Overall, nice, vintage electronics. They don't make 'em like they used to.Lire l'avis complet...

Inexpensive with great peformance

Lightweight and versatile this mixer provides performance beyond most expectations. Low s/n ratio with high quality sound at what is now a bargain price. Best to have an a/c adapter Batteries work ok, but have the problem of going dead at a bad time. Has 2 hi z microphone inputs, but with the right adapter lo z microphones work ok. Age of these mixers can be a problem, so try to pick one in good shape.Lire l'avis complet...

The Realistic 32-1100A is a great performer

I purchased my 32-1100A from our local Radio Shack store in Southern California back in July of 1990, and used it to DJ some parties back then. This little unit worked perfectly for me for years (and yes- it was more reliable using the recommended Realistic Archer 273-1454 AC adapter). Once the parties ended, I put it away, and after twenty years of storage I recently resurrected it to see how it compared to my new Behringer UFO 202 phono preamp. I performed a discrete comparison of sound quality, listening with four different high-end headphones, and I could barely detect a difference between the sound quality of the vintage 32-1100A Mixer and the modern Behringer unit! If anything, there might have been a very slight level of background noise from the Realistic unit not evident in the Behringer, but it was nearly indiscernible. I highly recommend this unit!Lire l'avis complet...

Smart little mixer, decent phono preamps

VU meters are super charming. Not backlit though.
Smart little budget mixer, decent phono preamps. No master LR sliders, but fine . Knobs and switches have good weight
