She has been at our job way longer than me and she has an extra cordless phone to answer the bosses line in our office... They are easy to set up and easy to register another add-on, extension phone if one so desires-- just be certain that your base (principle) prone is compatible with the extension(s) you subsequently purchase. (Model numbers are usually inscribed in the battery compartment of a base phone.)

Exactly what I needed in a cordless phone

Has a speakerphone button, it's bright red to catch my eye when I leave it laying somewhere, it 's not too shrill when it rings.....It doesn't call out the callers name which gives my clients some privacy. That was why I bought another phone. Talking caller ID doesn't work when you're assisting the needy. Only possible complaint I could have, if I really wanted to bitch about something (but I don't) is that is doesn't stand easily when it's off the cradle....I use the speakerphone button a lot when I'm here by myself and this handset is rounded on the bottom. You CAN stand it up but you have to concentrate a little to make it stay.....other than that , I'm really glad I got this phone.Lire l'avis complet...

Much better than expected.

My old phone was past help. I bought the V-tech on-line for $15 and would do it again in a minute. It was easy to set up (huge complement from a technically challenged old person). I can't testify to the sound quality (sometimes there are just bad connections) but am suspicious. For $15 I can live with more than suspicions. Phone for Magic Jack

Bought this phone for Magic Jack service. The phone works great and doesn't require anything other than what is in the box. When received, it had all the parts and instructions. Just do not buy a cheap phone..

There are too many issues to remember them all so I will list what I remember...
The handset is made of that thin plastic that is similar to the cheap model cars you got as a kid (the dime store brands).
The battery held a charge for about an hour so talking to family for longer than that was out of the question.
The speaker (for listening) sounds like an ear piece that is hanging by a wire so everything was hard to hear.
I literally stopped working before I could throw it away.

I will leave it at that and suggest not buying these inexpensive phones, and spend the money on a real phone (not these barbie toy phones)Lire l'avis complet...

Easy to install, sound is very clear, easy to use, a lot of added feature that can be found with other expensive unit, very light and small sized handset for easy handling

Rebuilt phone fine!

I needed a cheap phone for my workshop and this rebuild works perfectly! I particularly use the speaker function....the sound icon, bottom left in pink on the display picture. The sound quality is excellent both ways.

No problems and I am tickled. The one suggestion I would have offered the manufacturer is to go to standard batteries. It comes with the plug in battery pack (as most phones do). When that thing goes the phone won't be worth keeping.

But hey, hopefully that will be years from now. It's a *****great***** choice for a single phone!Lire l'avis complet...

V-Tech the very best, I say, the VERY best

V-Tech cordless landline phones have proven that they are top in the cordless industry! I've tried them all. On top of THAT sleek styling is a PLUS but no one has beat the price! Great gift. Have not been able to set the phone up because it has two phone plugs. If it had only one I would be able to use it.
My phone in the bathroom only has a plug for an outlet. Do you a phone like that?
