Outstanding Reference Book!!!

This book, one of two volumes, is an excellent reference. Hundreds of photographs are set chronologically to show the gradual changes in the uniforms and insignia of the German Army. Eventually one can see how what we call "traditional German" had come about. Volume one deals with 1870 to World War One while volume two deals with the Weimar era to the present.
