You can't go wrong with Uniden!

Originally bought Uniden wireless phone set on recommendation from a friend who said they held up better than all other brands. After many years, I can confirm that. This was another expansion of the original two handsets that came with the digital answering machine base station. We now have five extension handsets, plus the one on the base; two of the handsets are another compatible number but will not charge on the TCX800 charging base, and use the bases that came with them. Great phone

This is a used item but it is in good working order and sounds really good. I already had the base and it was easy to add it to may base. Thanks.

Used Uniden 5.8 Gh extra phone set.

I really like the phone and all its options. I bought it used and had a little trouble gettting it to work because it was registered to another phone base and it took me awhile to get the instructions on how to make it work with my main base. Since I have bought four extentions and find this is the best phone set I have ever owned. I would recomend it for anyone else and would help in setting it up with a short e-mail. Good Phone

This purchase worked out beautifully. The base is older and I had trouble finding a phone to match enabling us to add phones. This one matched and it was a good quality phone for short money.

Would purchase again, in a heartbeat...excellant phone system!

We have had this phone system in our story and 1/2 home for close to 15 yrs. Recently, I realized I needed to have a few more extensions as I never seemed to have one close at hand. I absolutely love this system. We tried others, but none had the intercom capabilities and I was forever yelling down possibly 2 floors to my DH in the basement. This system has intercom capabilities! I now have numerous extensions located all over the house including one in the garage for my DH as well as by his computer in the basement.

For the person with the problem of registering their set, I contacted Uniden vis email because I had the same problem. Here is what they wrote back:

"Press and hold the "END" key down first than "#" continue to hold those to button until a confirmation tone is heard and says "Deregistration Complete". Now re-register the handset."

Did that and now all extensions work with the one main base. I also use other bases as just charger cradles...do not plug the phone jack in, just the power cord. I set the time and they work perfectly. This is a wonderful product!!Lire l'avis complet...

Love This Phone!

We bought a set for each of our married kids and they all love them. I researched and had ordered some previously. Unfortunately, on one of the purchases, I did not look carefully enough and got a set that didn't have the speaker phone feature, which I have now given away, so be aware of that. We actually have 8 phones in our two level home because the children whose rooms are in the basement were constantly taking the ones upstairs and putting them in their favorite spot, so to keep peace in the family, there are now four phones in the basement and four upstairs, with identification on the phone (which you can program) that tells where each phone goes, with a "fine" if an upstairs phone finds its way downstairs!:) I love everything about the phones--long battery life, clear speaker, and the hands free ability to work while visiting on these phones.Lire l'avis complet...

Best phone I have ever had

This is the best extension phone I've had. This is compatible with many of the Uniden phones. Anything you want: transfer phone book addresses between phones, monitor a room, great tone clarity. As with other 5.8GHz phones, distance is not more than 100 ft, and less with walls in between. Great speaker phone - I use it all the time for conference calls.

I had some issues with deregister the phone from the base (it can only be deregistered if the original home base is near). I found out that pressing END + "#" deregisters the phone.Lire l'avis complet...

The best phones out there!

I have the base that goes with this extra handset. That is the biggest reason for the purchase. I think that Uniden has some of the best digital phones out there. They have great range, excellent reception and there easy to use. I recomend this handset to anyone looking for a quality extra handset.Lire l'avis complet...

Uniden with extra handsets

I decided that I wanted additional handsets for my unit--it will accomodate ten handsets which means I have them everywhere!! I had only purchased seven originally and had lost one outside at some time. I really like the idea that with one base and one phone jack, I can have a phone available for answering in every room. The handsets I purchased from e-bay, though in great condition must have been registered to another base and getting them to "speak" to my base was a challenge--neither the instruction booklet or the Uniden site were really helpful(that is, their instructions didn't work.)
I googled "de-register handsets" and found instructions, all my handsets are now working--yeah. I highly reccomend this unit and the additionsl handsets to anyone who is looking for new portable phones and an answering machine.Lire l'avis complet...

Excellent cordless phone

I love this phone! I can't tell you how many cordeless phones we have tried & gotten rid of. This phone is great because 2 of our rooms didn't have phone jacks, you plug it into a wall outlet.

What I really love best about it is the range! I have a garden that I am in all day. I used to hear the phone ring, run like H to the house. Now the phone is out there with me, over 100yrds from the house, clear as can be. Also have a clock with me while out there! I forgot to bring it back in with me today when it suddenly started to rain for over an hour. I am not telling you it s water-proof but it is working just fine!
