Uniden makes great communication products and this is just one more. If you hunt, fish, or do anything that involves more than 2 people, this is a great way to stay in contact. They don’t take up a lot of room and the controls are big enough to use even with gloves on. They are rated at 50 miles but terrain would have a lot to do with how far they will reach. Good radios

I like these radios. I have used the same model every day for several years. The only problem I have had it that the markings on the buttons wear off, This is not a problem for me, because I already know what the buttons do. Volume a little low

Pretty good radio. Forget the 30 miles. I got about half to 1 mile in range. The volume is too low under certain situations. Other than that, it's not a bad radio.

The Two-Way Radios have excellent range of communication and very clear audio when receiving a signal. Would highly recommend.
