Uncle Wiggly still rocks

I always read books I buy for my grandchildren and got two of these. I'm in the middle of the book now and the stories are so cute and kids can relate to the lessons learned. Uncle Wiggly was part of my childhood and I purchased other Uncle Wiggly games to go with the books. The illustrations are really cute and the stories are short, perfect for a bedtime story with cute characters. The

Memories

I love these stories from my childhood days. I am a grandma/great-grandma now and have such fond memories of my daddy telling me these stories at bedtime. We didn't have a book, but he memoriezed the stories and shared them with us.
I like to keep traditions going in my family, so for summer vacation together this year we will be reading these stories to the grandkids.

Such a good book to share generation to generation

My mother read us uncle Wiggily's stories when we were very little. I couldn't wait to hear the crazy little phrases he said at the end of ech chapter I thought Uncle Wiggily was brillent. Well it's been many years since I heard an uncle Wiggily story so I was thrilled to find this book again to share with my great niece. Guess what the old gentalman rabbit is still brilliant! Great book for a kids imagination!

My daughter read the entire book in one sitting! She had it read to her when she was four, and after learning to read, she was excited to receive it for herself to read.

Impressive!

I did not think my 3 yr old would be able to sit through a book without pictures. I thought it was impossible. However, this book uses such vivid imagery that she was able to visualize the story in her head, interjecting comments in context at appropriate times.
