Used Ultra Pure For Over 5 Years Now
We have been using Ultra Pure on my kid's 2 different trumpets, a Marching Horn in B flat ad 2 different double French Horns. The lube lasts like nothing else I've seen, which is especially an excellent idea for students who play even more than 2 times daily. The oil and lube has held up in freezing weather during parades and field shows/football games. The other rotor oils for French Horns are also very high quality and the bottle tips make it all easy to apply. I prefer for the lubes the little cups like those pictured here but Ultra Pure also sells the chapstick style of lube which is great for fitting into your case. Even their jumbo sized microfiber cloths are just wonderful and launder beautifully. Honestly, I won't buy anything else or use the other oils that have come with the horns when I purchased them new and used. The oils and lubes stay clean and don't clot or clump up. No weird residue that can't be washed out of clothing if you take some pre-treating precautions before laundering, and no nasty smells or non-clear colors like with other brands. I'm so glad I stumbled on them on ebay and also on Amazon. Highly Recommend, especially for those with high-investment instruments that are very "involved" to maintain, like our Holton prof. grade double horn. Surpasses most other valve oils
Having tried many others through the years, I picked up a bottle of Pure. Previously my favorite was the Reeves product that resists water (saliva) and lasts a very long time between oilings. Pure is less expensive and seems to create faster action. I will be measuring its' "endurance" (time between oiling) based on daily practice sessions of 2.5 hours each. Works great!
This has always been my favorite valve oil. I feel like it work smoother and last longer than some other brands. It has a very subtle lemon scent which I like.

Ultra pure valve oil
This valve oil is the best I have ever used, for my many antique cornets and vintage trumpets of all time periods, and condition. Valves operate more smoothly, nimble, quieter and a good air seal creating a better tone quality. Do you have tight valves?
You need this oil. It's made for close tolerances. I have a trumpet with Bauernfeind valve blocks. Wouldn't use any other oil on them.

I highly recommend this valve oil. I've tried many different kinds of synthetic valve oil and this is my favorite. Effective, long lasting and economical.
