It's Prince.
What drew me to this product was that it contained a fairly good representation of what used to be 12-inch vinyl singles of the late Mr. Nelson's work. "Let's Go Crazy", for example, is the full version contained in the "Purple Rain" film, and to me is the only version that should be played. "Pop Life", treated as a throw-away on "Around The World In A Day", is given the full treatment here. The only let-down to me was the version chosen of "She's Always In My Hair", which was originally a B-side of the "Raspberry Beret" single. It's an alternate take that (to my ears) is inferior to the version released in the '80s. I own most of the albums, so I skipped over Disc One and stampeded to Disc 2, which alone was worth the price of admission (plus shipping).Lire l'avis complet

If you can only own one anthology, this should be it!

The double CD I received was outstanding. Quality excellent and sealed. If you are a PRINCE lover, as I am, you will not be disappointed with all these great hits of his. Ultimate Hits Is A Must Have!!
From beginning to end this project is flawless! I am a huge fan of the song controversy and on this particular album the original version is on there and it bangs! Such a tragedy that Prince died so young an unnecessary. He was and will always be a musical Legend. Thanks to the guys I ordered this from on here. Finally got the 2 Disk Prince CD Ultimate Greatest Hits. Keep it in my Car to listen to while running errands. Sounds Great !! Took a while to get here but once I got it I put it straight in to the CD Player and turned Up the Volume. :)Lire l'avis complet
