Great idea for a well done Game!

Turok Evolution is a great game! The idea is refreshing, a native american guy was drawn into a different time, different place, where Dinosaurs and lizard aliens roamed the planet. Naturally you need to shoot them all. The graphics are good for this year (2002) some glitches though: you can walk through objects at times. The weapons are great, I liked the most the arrows with their add-ons: the poison and the explosive arrows with the zoom-in sniper-option. Riding the dino-bird is a cool aspect of the game however it is a difficult one as well; maneuvering this big creature between, above and under the falling rocks and buildings is a challenging mission.
The blood and gore look almost real.
I love shooting games that's why I got this game, I also read good reviews and decided to give it a try and I am glad I did.Lire l'avis complet...

Great game!

Love this game! My son and I love the PvP maps and slaughter each other by the hour (in a good way—with lots of laughs). The game's working well. Great purchase!

I LOVE TUROK!

Ok, lets get this out of the way, no, its not better than Dinosaur Hunter, Definately not as good as Seeds of Evil (my personal favorite)or Rage Wars. However, I liked it better than the Turok 3 game. Controls are tricky, but like most games you get the hang of it fairly soon, and there are levels that I loved, like flying the big prehistoric bird, pterrodactyl..or however you spell it..Now, whether to buy it or not? Well if you're a Turok fan, you'll probably still want to play it..even if its just once..but if you're looking for the same level of coolness and challenge as Turok 2, wellllll...you're going to be bummed..I bought it, played it..and would never get rid of it..but like I said, Im a big Turok fan...'nuf said..Lire l'avis complet...

Turok Evolution (PS2)

This game is pretty good. You can have alot of fun playing it. The only problem is it's always the same people you are killing. They just get better. This game is worth buying but make sure you do not spend more than 15 dollars. The possitive side of this game is that its a classic. If you love dinosaure action I would definitely recommend this game. I played multiplayer on this game and wasent fascinated. Though it is an amazing single player game. Good purchase

I bought this game for nostalgia sake. I wasn't expecting good graphics or even a good story, but it was a good value

THOUGHT IT WOULD HAVE BEEN BETTER......

Your level of interest in Turok: Evolution will be very much contingent on your interest in past Turok games. Aside from a few minor issues, this latest installment is pretty solid all around, but it doesn't bring many new ideas to the table. In the end, Turok: Evolution is a bread-and-butter console shooter that will let you blast enemies to your heart's content, but not a whole lot else. If that's good enough for you, then go for it. It isnt a Terrible game but its bugs,very hard difficulty and very long load times make this game fairly unenjoyable.Some levels have a habit of taking away certain weapons you had which is weird.The game is long but you probably wont finish it since it gets so hard later on.You lost too much health when falling which is strange because you would never lose health by falling in previous turoks unless it was a cliff.The Graphics are a mixed bag.The framerate is mostly smooth and the enemies look decent but the textures are extremely bland and muddy looking and some lack even the most basic amount of detail.Lire l'avis complet...

Childhood favorite and I can finally beat the game now
