perfect for a short revo if you dont want to much power

i prefer the 3.3 but i keep one revo with a 2.5r most reliable not to much power and less drive train wear and unwanted wheelies and it gets faster speeds with less gearing, just takes longer to get up to speed but i will always have one revo with a 2.5r for race conditions. i prefer the 3.3 for power in a short revo its insane constant wheelies and crazzy acceleration but be prepared for drive shaft snapping and bending, i run a mach.28 in one of my 6 revos 5 nitro one brushless and between brushless 3.3 and 2.5r the 2.5r truck needs the least maintance and drive shafts dont warp or snap, just doesnt have the power to pull wheelies great enginesLire l'avis complet...

good for its price

fired up quick right out of the box, ran good, broke - in good, and still starts like immediately, every time I throw it on the box. not the most powerful engine I've ever had however it's quite Snappy great for its price.

T-Maxx Classic Sound

I know the electric R/C has many advantages these days, but the sound of a Nitro engine is just sweet. Nitro-4-ever!!!!!

Once this little engine is Properly broken in and tuned it is a ton of fun! Installed in my Traxxas Nitro Rustler It does not have the kind of back flipping Torque of larger or more exotic engines but its top end absolutely screams. It is capable of 60+ mph in a rustler with 22/72 gearing. In my opinion It would be ideally installed in a lighter weight model no heaver than a bling'ed out nitro rustler, The Traxxas 3.3 would be a better choice for something heavy like a monster truck. I think the Traxxas 2.5R engine has Very good performance for the price.Lire l'avis complet...
