Traxxas Wheelie bar

Good item as you would expect from Traxxas. Easy install, but you must keep in mind you cannot use this wheelie bar with the stock rear bumper installed. You must remove the stock bumper and mount the wheelie bar in its place as they both use the same mounting points. I would have liked to see a design that allowed the use of both the stock bumper and the wheelie bar at the same time. Not a big deal, but it does leave the rear of the body more exposed to damage from another driver hitting you from behind and the like. Wheels are hard plastic without bearings but seem to roll fine just the same. A must have item for high power brushless 2wd slash as there is a lot of weight on the rear with the motor hanging off the back behind the wheels like a buggy, and the nose lifts with ease. not durable, it can definitely use a 4th bolt

broke on the second run, and I was not even running on lipo, ran for the second time and one of the two rails that slides into the chassis came off the chassis rail, Uninstalled and installed again, that's when I found out the hole where the larger size bolt goes into (side where the single bolt goes) was bent and not only that, but it also opened up a crack along the outter side of the hole. It's not durable, it can use a 4th bolt, so it can have 2 on each side, and for that to work, Traxxas would need to re-modify their whole line of Traxxas chassis as well. A must have for lipo battery vehicles

Good product, but there's better

It's ok and does the job for the price, but the wheels are really small and chincey, and the rubber on them keeps coming off. Doesn't really make the stampede look cooler either, makes it look like its pulling a trailer. But this is the one everybody has so we got it.Lire l'avis complet...

Love wheelies

Well before my son had the wheelie bars on his Rustler... he would hit the throttle too hard and it actually goes so fast it would flip it self over and cause damage, so the wheelie bars were bought for him so we didn’t wreck his RC car the first month he had it and since he got his wheelie bars he’s mastered them!!! he can do a wheelie all the way down the driveway I’d say 100 feet or so. They have 4 settings, so you can set it so it can’t do wheelies at all if you are racing, or in our case- set them to be able to do high wheelies for an extended period of time. they were also very hard to find the actual store was completely out of them out of stock didn’t know when they would get them back so I was very lucky to get this set of Wheelie bars. I recommend them to everyone for fun and to help not destroy your RC car because they go so fast it’s just like a racecar you actually need them so your front end doesn’t shoot to the moon!!!Lire l'avis complet...

Kinda works

I've had a few of these over the years. They work well for stopping wheelies, but they come unclipped every few minutes. For some reason I forgot, and bought another one. Finally I had to super glue it into one position. Next time I will buy a different brand of wheelie bar.Lire l'avis complet...

Easy install

Wheelie bar for Traxxas 2wd slash

On 3S 7600mAh 50C, be warned not to use such battery - wheelie bar "WILL BE TORN OFF - WHEN BASHING"
