True to the Movie

Transformers Revenge of the Fallen the Game is a fun recreation of the movie. Playing as characters on each side you get to complete missions that put you into important parts of the movie. The game has smooth easy to learn controls and plenty of objectives to keep you playing for a bit of time. The game is not that difficult, but if you are a fan of Transformers it is a game that you will enjoy. The true gem of this game is the online multiplayer which has hours good gameplay and a great free-for-all format. There is also more download content for multiplayer including G1 characters and new maps that will keep you playing for long after you get your money's worth.Lire l'avis complet...

Transformers Game for Xbox 360

If you are a fan of the Transformers series this is a must have game. The graphics are amazing. The story line is fairly accurate to the movie. Controls are a little fumbly at first but once you get the hang of them it is a fairly easy game to complete. A few things that I didn't like are the levels are somewhat small. Also I have an issue with getting the game to start sometimes. When the disk is inserted into the system it reads the disk as a DVD for some reason. I am not sure if this is due to the fact that there are Generation 1 shows that are unlockable on the disk or if it is because there are small scratches on the outer edge of the disk. Either way it is inconvinent. An easy fix is to rip the game to your XBox hard drive and run it off of that instead of off the disk. I have not had a chance to check out the online game play yet but I am fairly sure that it would be intense. Overall I love the game play and playing as these alien robots never gets old.Lire l'avis complet...

not for the non fan

the gameplay is good not great the missions follow that of the latest movie with a few tweeks the graphics are average and the game is short but on the bright side they let you play as the decepticons and while playing the game you can unlock certain unlockables that pertain to the old episodes of transformers they have pictures episodes so basically just hardcore to avid fans of the series will want to pic this game up the game also has a multiplayer that has online which is very entertaining but since not many people know about the game there are not that many players you would get lucky to get like 4 people online at the time that you play and most of the time when you play 1v1 you will get a sore loser and mid game he would just leave i have had that happen alot so play the bigger games and you will be satisfied with it the game doesnt have too much replay ability and the achievments are pretty hard to achieve but 3 playthroughs and you can get an easy 1000 gamerscoreLire l'avis complet...

Great Game =]!

Excellent Game =]

Pros: Great Graphics, nice functionality

Cons: It bothered me that the game requires you to hold down a button (I don't recall which one, I think it was the right trigger) to enter and stay in vehicle mode. The same button controls your acceleration in vehicle mode and you cannot reverse in vehicle mode unlike the first game where you had full function (forward/reverse) in vehicle mode and you did not have to hold down any button.Lire l'avis complet...

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

It's a cool game because you get to play as transformers. The overall game play gets a little monotonous and the limits on where you can move around the city kind of stinks. The movement of the transformers, from trasforming to just moving around, is very smooth. Although it is a little repetitive it still is an entertaining game to play. I haven't played online yet so I'm not quite sure how that is. It could possibly make the game less repetitive.Lire l'avis complet...

Transformers Revenge of the fallen

Ok so this game plays a lot like spiderman, in the sense that its somewhat free roam but also goal oriented. It is a bit korky as far as the controls. the only real downfall for me is the aiming system, its a bit dificult since the game wants to auto aim and sometimes that throws your camera view off and might get you killed in a pinch.

The achievments are fairly dificult, it seems like every level is timed.
On the other hand the characters are well built and you get the feel of transformers out of it. all in all i would rate this game a 6/10. fun to play.

Major Disappointment

Graphics were good but I was majorly disappointed when the characters from the Nintendo Wii version were not in the game. The story line was okay, but the way the levels were organized, was garbage.r>
You could not choose a favourite character to play as, couldn't see how many levels there were. No multiplayer.Lire l'avis complet...

Kool Game

There are multiple reasons why this game is better than the first. Firstly the game is more focused on gun combat than melee combat, secondly you can transform in mid-air using a new unique control, and thirdly new characters for each campaign and a variety of characters as well. Your enemy robots don't have their force field up everytime you fire your gun weapon unlike the first game, which spices up the destruction! This game is challenging and an AWESOME game to play!Lire l'avis complet...

AWESOME PRODUCT GREAT FOR VALUE

GREAT GAME A++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++=

Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen: The Game is a 2009 third-person shooter video game based on the 2009 live action film Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen. The PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 versions were developed by Luxoflux, and ported to the PC by Beenox Studios. The PlayStation 2 and Wii versions were developed by Krome Studios, and the PlayStation Portable version was developed by Savage Entertainment. The game was released on June 23, 2009, one day before the film's release in the United States. Australia received the game one day later, and Europe on June 26, 2009.

The series of games loosely follow the plot of their movie counterpart. The PC, PS3 and Xbox 360 version feature a split-campaign format, with both an Autobot and Decepticon campaign. The PS2 and Wii versions combine the Autobot and Decepticon stories into one campaign that alternates between factions. Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: Autobots and Transformers Revenge of the Fallen: Decepticons are the Nintendo DS versions of Revenge of the Fallen, developed by Vicarious Visions. Similar to Transformers Autobots and Transformers Decepticons, the DS version is split into two separate games. Autobots follows the heroes' perspective while Decepticons follows the perspective of the villains.

Revenge of the Fallen received mixed reviews on the PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 systems, holding a 64% at GameRankings and a 61% at Metacritic. The PlayStation 2 and Wii scored lower, with 46% and 53% at GameRankings, respectively. The DS iterations fared slightly better, with a critic average of 67% for Autobots and 69% for Decepticons at GameRankings.
