Surprisingly fast and quiet

I installed in a desktop as OS bootup drive, I was surprised how fast the machine boots up and how quiet the drive is, feel almost like as fast as a SSD, that is impossible.

Excellent replacement hard drive. Don't forget to back-up everything first.

I'm not a computer geek, but this hard drive works great. I saved my files on an external hard drive, but I should have saved all the operating system programs too. I had to have a geek friend re-install all the Windows 7 stuff and other programs that he had discs for. PITA. It's a sad thing when one's computer hard drive fails.
