Highly recommended lens for a creative photography!

Great lens!

In spite of lack of the USM motor focuses quite fast and steadily.

The main weakness is flare phobia, but you can always use lens hood and everything will be OK. Picture quality 4/5 was given for that (that would be 4,5/5 if eBay had that capability).

The main advantage is a picture it gives. Great bokeh for a zoom lens, great colours.

Each Tokina AT-X Pro 28-70mm F/2.8 has a peculiarity - soft effect on the 70mm/2.8 (on the 70mm/4 lens is sharp). As for me - great for portraits, but someone may dislike.

It's made of aluminium alloy so it's not as light as most of lens that have plastic bodies. And it feels solid - more like that great old MF lenses than modern plastic rattle-bags. :)Lire l'avis complet...

Lens was a bargain price and is a good performer. Construction is solid.

Fast & Sharp

I use this lens with my Sony A99 full frame camera. Zoom range is perfect for what I need. Image quality is sharp throughout the f-stop range. Great addition to my lens kit.
