Titanic dvd 2004 review

First of I would like to mention that Titanic is one of the best movies ever created on cinemas and back in 1999 almost everybody was talking about it. It is based on real events about how the ''unsinkable'' RMS Titanic did eventually sink on the bottom of the ocean, and how and why most of its passengers died in that tragic event. The RMS Titanic was the most technologally advance ship for it's time and one of the biggest ships ever created but the bad commandership and the cocky minds of some rich people lead it to it's death among it's passengers. Leonardo Dicaprio and Kate Winslet's acts are fantastic making you feel that you are actualy on that ship all those years ago and make you feel that true love which is very rare in our times can really exist. Also I really liked the way the old lady (Kate Winslet plays the role of that old lady when she was young and survived the titanic sink) tells the story. You will also see the ship on the pottom of the ocean at the bigging of the movie when the robot trie's to find that drawing they were looking for and I really liked that part. However there are a few bad thinks since every movie has it's fault's but they don't spoil the movie. It is a must seen and I rate it 8.9/10.Lire l'avis complet...

Absolutely Fantastic 10/10

I bought this dvd as my daughter has been studying the titanic at school. This film is one of the best I've watched, a real tear jerker & my daughter really got to understand the whole story & what she'd been studying.
Its a very thorough film expressing emotion & love, ending with loss. It must of been terrifying for the passengers. I would recommend this film to anyone, if you don't enjoy the Titanic then there's no hope!Lire l'avis complet...

I watched this film in 3D at the cinema for the very first time and loved it so much I couldn't wait to watch it again. Was so excited when I was browsing that I accidentally bought the made for TV version! Was really disappointed when it turned up so clicked very carefully this time. Thankfully, the DVD worked just fine and gave me my Leo fix! I love Titanic and will watch it till the dvd stops working so will definitely get my moneys worth! There are no things to dislike about this product (apart from Rose's evil fiance - boo - but that's hardly the seller's fault!).Lire l'avis complet...

Good quality DVD

Loved the DVD but didn't realise that the picture would be very widescreen and so doesn't fill the depth of my flatscreen TV. Was not able to change this in any settings.

All time Movies

It an all time favourite movie. Worth to have and watch from time to time. Actors are excellent, love the scenes + set up very real. It is an award winning movie and fun to watch on a cold winter day.
