Awesome book , if you know French !
Les Aventures de Tintin has been around
for 90 years ! Their collection is a treasure !
They have been translated into hundreds
of languages , although reading them in the
original French is always the best .
This book is light and funny and very social
unlike other Tintin books which usually have
more intrigue in them .

One of the best albums by Hergé, funny, captivating and full of beautiful details

I am French and Tintin was a must at home growing up. I re-read all the Tintin albums every 3-4 years because I find them compelling and interesting.

Les Bijoux de la Castafiore is one of the best Hergé's albums since it includes La Castafiore, a very loud and self-assured opera singer who manages to make Captain Haddock's life miserable in a very funny way. It also includes all the important characters in Tintin's stories, Professor Tournesol, the butler, the Siamese Cat, Milou the dog, Captain Haddock, the insurance salesman, the Dupond twins and of course, Tintin himself!Lire l'avis complet...
