Still a good game at a couple of years old.

I wanted a golf sim to play when the weather was not cooperating and thought that it also might help with some parts of my game. Since this version is a couple of years old now I thought that I could get some good features without having to drop 50 bucks on a new one.
Overall it is really, really nice. If I had a complaint, it might be that it takes soooooo long to set yourself up as a golfer, but this is par for the course (pun intended). Anyone who plays golf would enjoy the game and it has the added bonus of disk golf that my daughters boyfriends love.

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 reaches new WII Heights

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 uses the new WII Motion Plus adapter. It is relatively easy to play and offers good golf feel. The graphics are better than the standard MII characters but not as good as the high end gaming systems but then again the WII was built for ease of use and just plain fun. The "feel" of the golf culb is very good. The narration and the courses available are top notch. The motion Plus adapter adds to the realism.

For a fun time with a group this game is top notch. In single player mode, once you've learned how to use all the features and played all the courses it becomes a little repitious. The game is playable for anyone from probably about age 6. No violence, just good, clean golfing fun!

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 10 for Wii

Gameplay is fun and very realistic, with challenge but not overly difficult. Changing clubs can be troublesome as is the navigation on the Wii system (that pesky little pointed finger just won't stay still). Putting is tough and will take time to master (isn't that the case in real golf?). Graphics are OK, the courses are beautiful however the players images aren't as "lifelike" as in past TW games. Haven't actually played all of the game yet, but my overall feeling is that this will be a great game to play. Highly recommended for golfers of all levels...make sure you purchase the "Motion Plus" for the controllers, it makes a world of difference.Lire l'avis complet...

Very Happy , Good Experience , Great Product !!

Fun game.....dont expect PS3 or XBox graphic quality , more like a hopped up PS2....I got this to use during the winter to keep my arms and shoulers in movement and it seems to be paying off some...im not saying im shooing my lowest scores ever , but my early holes have improved quite a bit...Gives you good open and closed face feedback...as for you not to twist your hands....I play some of this 9-18 holes the night before I have to go golfin the next day :) and if I miss out the night before , I play a quick 9 in the morning :)) For the price its worth every penny...I paid like $18.00 for the TW2010 ...It was worth getting this one first before I shelled of a little more for the Masters Ed. 2012 edition...Lire l'avis complet...

Tiger woods wii golf short on operational details

The biggest problem I've had is that the program assumes an in depth understanding of golf details. There is no place to learn the tecnical details of the individual clubs like distance and trajectory at a given swing. It seems that it suggests the operation of the club in hand but does not allow the unusual use of a club like using a driver (and its low trajectory) to chip from under an overhanging obstacle. It needs to have some method of letting the user know why a given club is generally used in a given situation based upon conditions and goal. Also the practice swing is not as useful as the simple power bar type feedback as the wii Resort or Sport golf. Not being able to view the practice swing's effect from an alternate view makes it impossible to get a three dimentional understanding of the distance the ball will carry or travel. Overall, it can seem arbitrary and difficult to change your action as feedback is incomplete or unusable.Lire l'avis complet...

Ooooooook EA...Ya did Better...Almost, But Beware

I made darn sure that the putting characteristics has return as it was in 08' before I even thought of buying this for me. Glad to say that they have offered both styles of putting & that is good enough for me, so let move forward.

It raining, cold & miserable here for the winter, and there is no better way to enjoy golf than to do so in the comforts of your own living room with a 55" screen.

Ok, so, it's the same typical set screen and yes, I am thankful that the real putting means has returned makes this game back to the 2008 in my view.

GOLF GEAR -

Drivers - Sigh...No Titleist Drivers...Ugh...Very limited selection to choose from Im afraid...what a frekking drag maaaahn.

Fairway Woods - eh...who cares.

Irons - Mizuno MX100, 200, 950, MP52, 57 & 62s (Thank Gaaawd...a saving grace here folks!).

Wedges - MP-R & MP-T Black Ni, CG12s, Nike line yadda yadda.

Putters - No Scotty's...nuff said.

I just hate to feel like Im buying a 2008 game with the 2010 wrapper on it, but that is how I feel bout this...

Oh sure, a couple of added items Disk Golf? eh...but, in all honesty...your getting what EA should of done in the first place and that is bout a simple as it gets.

I was hoping that the custom avatar for creating the players would of gone through an improvement in graphics, but it is the same old format...wtf?

If your into the commentary, I don't know bout you, but, I do not care for a female voice commenting during a round...give me back the English accent announcing.

Ya know...I had an idea...I would of liked to see a "Gopher Elimination" format. This would involve round of golf that has pesky little gophers running around the course and it is your goal to launch your ball towards the intended target, moving or otherwise. The explosive ball is activated by the initial impact of the club and explodes upon landing. You get bonus $ for eliminating a moving gopher of course. Elevated tee boxes option available.

I guess the point Im making, is that for all the hype of the "New & Improved" TW10 for the general public...you would think that the folks at EA would improve on the game itself, rather than rewrapping the same old gift and then selling them at premium prices.

What? Wii Motion Plus?! r u kididng me?! The folks at EA wants your to buy this piece of hardware for this old game?! Put the pipe down EA...puff puff pass maaaaahn...oh come on...

You screwed the peeps hard earned $$ in the 09'game and you asking them to swallow this also? Whaaaat? it probably only cost you $ .59 to produce each piece in China and you want what? $19.99!? Yaaaaaaa...nice try...and I can fade and draw without it thank you very much.

Folks, it's one thing to let a company know when they have messes up if a product that they peddled...but, its another when they are asking you to pay up for a product that is still the same old game in the first place esp. with gimmicks to make up for the lost revenue of a poor product from the 09'. If EA had any heart whatsoever, they would have included this motion plus WITH THE GAME IN THE FIRST PLACE.

But hey, don't fret...I hear that the TW11 will have the option of going out after the tournament to pick up waitresses and what not...thus, you will find this aspect of the game under the tab "Playing the 19th hole".

If your expecting a whole new experience of this TW10, sorry...EA wants you to suck on it till they are done with you...then, they will feed you something else.

Nice Game

This Game plays very well and has lots of options. The only thing I don't like is the annoying heart beat in the remote when your close

Entertaining Golf game for Nintendo Wii

Was looking for a more advanced golf game than what was provided with the Wii Sports progams. Considering the Wii graphics limitations, the courses are well displayed with plenty of options. The only major difference in this program and the current PGA 11 is the player viewpoint mode. The two good points, this version was far less expensive on Ebay, and with a little practice, I can almost play as well as Tiger Woods is doing now!Lire l'avis complet...

Keep your expectations reasonable

I got this for the Disc Golf setting hoping it would scratch the itch left by Sports Resort. Loved that it had multiple courses (a HUGE disadvantage of Resort) but the game play mechanics were too easy. One my first game on the first course, I shot a -5. Not what I was looking for to provide a Disc Golf challenge similar to Resort.Lire l'avis complet...
