Third World War Sega CD

I enjoy this game because it gives you the option of playing as several countries around the world. Including The United States, Russia, China, Germany, France, UK, Israel, Ect.. You decide the fate of the word. You can use your Military, or use your economic might to take over any country that stands in your way. You can make treatys, or break them.
This game was very enjoyable when I played it when I was 14, and I recently bought it on ebay, and im 28, and the game is still as enjoyable, if not more now then it was to me then.

Beware, the graphics arent the best in the world, but they certaintly arent bad by any means. The game play makes up for it more then enough for me.

If you have ever played Superpower for The PC, Third World War seems like the blueprint for that game. They are similar, obviously with the PC having its advantages over the sega cd.

With a 10 being the absolute best, I would give Third World War a 9.2
This game would probably be more popular with people that enjoy Turn based games, and like games such as Risk, or other world dominating strategy games.Lire l'avis complet...

Great, although complicated, game.

Great, rare, long lost Sega CD game. This one is truly unique. I've only played it for about four to five hours, and only a couple of times. It is clear to see it is VERY extensive, detailed, and VERY well made, but don't kid yourselves if you think that you won't have to read the manual to play this strategy game. READ the manual, which is very thick, or else you will not know what you're doing (I certainly didn't). Must have for Sega CD owners who enjoy strategy and those who are looking for a real-world strategy game in the same vein as, but more complicated than classics like "Nuclear War," "Military Madness," "Axis and Allies," "Risk," and "North and South!"Lire l'avis complet...

Third world war (Sega CD)

I loved this game when I was in my teens! You can play as different countries and do a lot of behind the scenes work if you were running a real country. Going to war with near-by countries is one the goals. Taking over the world is the main goal. I did find a glitch that when you started a nuclear war at the end of the world disaster you could start as Russia and have unlimited money! Lire l'avis complet...

Third World War

Over the years I have played all of the best Sega CD games that have been made for the system, and being older I must say this one is one of the best. Third World War is a Strategy war simulation game where the player chooses what Nation to lead in a battle for world domination, be it military or economic. Third World War sega cd

Put this on the shot list of quality titles for the sega cd. The Third World War is a strategic war simulation game set in 1994. The player chooses to play as one of several major nations and most complete the objective of conquering the world either econommically or militarially within as set number of years.
The game plays is mostly menu based execpt for military compact which is like and early real time stragey combat game. If you enjoy any of the KOEI titles for either the sega genesis of super nintendo this game is very similiar.Lire l'avis complet...

Hidden classic...

This game is very good. Even with the higher than normal price that this is going for I highly reccomend picking it up. This game is truely one of a kind.
