X-Files, the mythology begins HERE!

For any fan of the series, or of Chris Carter's work in general, you absolutely have to go to the very beginning before anyone knew if the show was even going to make it on the air. The opening episode, appropriately titled "Pilot", is an absolute tribute to risk-taking television as it immediately delves into unexplained phenomena, the paranormal, and extra terrestrials. What most people are unaware of, is the fact that Carter's work always had intricate ties into the intelligence community, and most of the shows main storyline/mythology is based on REAL DOCUMENTED CASES of the paranormal, including many government documents that are now declassified.

The show is stellar in all ways, including the cheesy-yet-serious acting of Duchovny (Mulder), the heretofore unknown Anderson (Scully), the wonderful direction of Carter, and the superb work of all sound and lighting crew, as well as many guest appearances that make this show just too special to pass up!Lire l'avis complet...

X-Files season 1

I do not believe there is intelligent alien life out there, however there are government conspiracies, and cover ups happening almost daily. This is what I love about the X-files. I enjoy digging into what the government does not want us to know; this is a big part of the X-Files. Combine this with possible alien live and science fiction and you can get a rough view of the X-Files TV series and movies. If you do not enjoy that sort of thing the X-Files are probably not for you. However if you are get ready for a 9 season ride of conspiracies within conspiracies...just don't forget that it is fiction!Lire l'avis complet...

The X-Files Season 1

I absolutely LOVE this show. I remember it being on air during the early nineties when i was about 5 or 6 years old and being so intrigued by the music that would play for the opening title theme; that, and i would also try and seek a peek of the actual episode. *laughs* I never really got to watch the show in depth until middle school, when one of my best friends was talking about how terribly unfashionable Agent Scully's powersuits were- it was then that i decided to rewatch the series.
