Very interesting, a little gory, but full of learning experiences

I love this show and ordered all seven seasons. I do not watch the zombies killing, eating, slaughtering, etcetera; I fast forward through these scenes to get to the characters and the body of the episode.

My main interest is seeing how individuals survive without the advantages we are used to having in our lives (such as food, water, electricity, etcetera).

The characters are intense and we either like them or love them. When characters get me saying, "do that!" or, "don't do that!" I know I am into the show.

One horror of the show is man's inhumanity to man. I found this worse then the zombies, because when you befriend and trust a person and then have that person/group turn and try to kill you and take what you have (when you were willing to share), is horrible. How quickly the bad surface when there is no one or laws to control these individuals was truly amazing. Because of previous bad experiences, how can a person trust another person, even if they say they are good?

Rick is a strong leader (he was a cop) and has good intentions and intuitions when it comes to people. Eventually, after so many bad experiences, he became so guarded that he no longer trusted anyone not in his group, no matter how good they appeared. It then took a lot before he would admit others into the fold.

If you like zombies and the horrors of trying to survive, this is the show to see.

THE BEST ZOMBIE SERIES ON TV

This Dvd collection is awesome! the series is top notch and even though AMC runs a marathon of the episodes....the true fan MUST have this Dvd collection of the second season. The shows are truly greatness and season 3 should be as good. Any monster OR Zombie fan will love this show. Since Dish network has opted out of the series for some odd reason...fans will surely want to buy this Dvd series. The 4 disc set was all there and each disc was correct in the episodes listed. This series is well done with great acting and great directing and above all great zombie makeup for all involved. very believableLire l'avis complet...

Wow! Great follow-up to Season One!

Wow! You don't have to read the graphic novels to enjoy and understand this TV adaptation of THE WALKING DEAD. In fact, it's probably better if you don't, as some plot elements have been changed. However, I would recommend watching Season One first; if you don't, you can still understand why Andrea gets upset at the mention of Amy but you can't truly FEEL the extent of Andrea's pain. Ditto for other characters; they EXPLAIN why they're angry or depressed but it doesn't compare to actually living through it with them, so get both seasons if you can! A likable character from Season 1 does something horrendously evil in Season 2, while an unpleasant Season 1 character shows a tender side in Season 2. THE WALKING DEAD can be an emotional rollercoaster, but it makes you think about whether people really can --- or SHOULD --- maintain their moral standards during a zombie apocalypse. Enjoyed this awesome product!

This is one of the best T.V. series that I have ever watched. It was hard for me to take my eyes from the screen. Then, when one episode ended, I could not help but watch the next episode! The premise is that the world has been over run by a virus that turns people into zombies. Small groups of people are trying to rebuild, and survive during these horrific times
I originally bought this product to see what all the talk, and hype was about. After watching this season, I clearly see why people love this T.V. series!

The only thing that I disliked about this product is that the next season is not out yet. As for what I liked, everything. The Walking Dead is not for those with weak stomaches. There is a lot of blood and gore, and lots and lots of zombies are killed, along with the people fighting them. The ting that I liked best of all was the excitement, and not knowing what was going to happen from one episode to the nest.

I 100% advise anyone that is into zombies or action movies to order this season, or any of that matter to enjoy!!Lire l'avis complet...

You will want to watch this season again so you might as well go ahead and get it. The characters are at their best, the story is fresh and exciting, the suspense is terrifying and engaging, while the drama is intense and addicting. I loved watching this season, really a great series

I hadn't ever gotten around to watching the first or second season on TV, but I had always heard good things about the series. I decided to buy the Season 1 Bluray pack and then I liked that so much I had to buy Season 2 as well.

The Walking Dead Season 2 doesn't disappoint. It's packed with action and is maybe even better than the first season. Plus, there are 13 episodes and each is better than the last. I highly recommend this and can't wait for the new season 3 episodes to air on TV.
