A living history of the undefeated 1958 LSU Tigers

This is a very well written story of the 1958 undefeated, national champion LSU Tigers. Much detail is shared about almost every member of the team but with emphasis on the stars. Mr. Johnson begins with details about the hiring of Paul Dietzel and the important keys leading up to the championship season. The development of the White team, Go team, and the Chinese Bandits is very nice. Also, the explanation of assets of a light but fast team in great shape led naturally into the Tigers overwhelming ownership of the fourth quarter domination of their opponents.
