"I Stand Alone" (Godsmack) was nominated for the 2003 Grammy Awards for Best Rock Song and Best Hard Rock Performance.

This album features a staggering 16 bands of the heavy rock/nu-metal persuasion assaulting the senses with eardrum-decimating aural aggression. Oh yeah, it also happens to be the soundtrack to the cutting-edge film THE SCORPION KING. Whether or not you see the movie, the accompanying disc definitely stands up on its own. Things get off to a bone-crushing start with the pounding riffs of Godsmack's "I Stand Alone." System of a Down's RATM-influenced "Streamline" delivers the requisite mix of melody and thrash. Ozzy Osbourne, one of the men who started all this, collaborates with disciple Rob Zombie on the gothic metal of "Iron Head." The Scorpion King features a great soundtrack.

The Scorpion King was a movie I enjoyed from beginning to end.
I loved Godsmack's theme "I Stand Alone" as well. The remaining tracks on the soundtrack are similar to this one, and I liked most of them too. I prefer a soundtrack like this one that is not mostly instrumental (like The Mummy Returns soundtrack is).Lire l'avis complet...

What a great mix.

I love all these bands. Godsmack is my absolute favorite. Who couldn't be ready to rock after hearing "I Stand Alone." What a great mix on one CD. Rock On!!

Hardcore to the bone.

I need to be in the mood for this CD and I was. This is one get your mojo going CD. This will make me research all the bands on these tracks and find more CD's of each group. Great Soundtrack...

Scorpion King Soundtrack

Awesome groups and sound for a soundtrack. Godsmack, Creed, Nickleback, Rob Zombie, etc.. most soundtracks have alot of unknown groups, this is the ultimate exception. You can jam 24/7 on this.

Scorpion King CD

This Cd wasn't as good as I thought it would be. The only great song is the one from Godsmack. That song was why I bought it in the first place.

Good CD

Has a medley of songs, most of which have a very good beat.

As for why I decided to buy it, that would be because I had heard a copy before, and thought owning it would be cool.

Great mix of KIck ass music
