The only problem with this DVD is the same I have with most, it is recorded at a very low volume and it makes it difficult to hear, especially if you have like a window air conditioner running. the reef is scary for small children warning!

starts off under water in Boston harbor and its no tea party. 3 eyed fish and the fish have a dirty street language your kids will not get.More like bed stye Brooklyn under water. 1st thing that happens is the star fishy loser his 2 parents to fishermen and the y perish at the dinner plate(unseen but implied). there are bully sharks to scare your kids from kindergarten bullies. the write to this movie must have had a lousy childhood in Boston?Maybe another big city.My kind cant make it past the bully shark part midway in the movie without being scared. The Pelican is a Jamaican accent bird that say "come here little ;it wont hurt at all i will swallow you whole)weird. why not just say tweet twet(kidding) or i dont know this movie seems to be set on death.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Child Entertainment

The Reef is cute but almost a copy of Nemo.

The movie is so much like Finding Nemo. They have a current they swim in, an old and wise turtle and they use the word Dude just like in Nemo. I bought the movie because my three year old and I were in K Mart in the electronics section and it was on every television in there. It looked really pretty on all the big screens and she was absolutely fascinated by it. She had never seen Nemo and I had. It is a cute movie and I think young kids will like it because it is cute and a simple storyline. The colors are also very vivid.Lire l'avis complet...

its a good flick for Kids

I enjoy most all Animated Films,, and this one was no exception,, but not of the NEMO quality.. but younger viewers will like it,, For one that Adults and kids will enjoy I recommend 'Shark Tales" great music, funny and they matched the voice over actors to the characters Perfecto........Would I buy The Reef again,, Yes,, good for a kid's video Library.Lire l'avis complet...

Good Childrens movie

Too Long

For this movie to be for Children, it is way too long. Both my Son and I lost interest after about an hour. It was too long and maybe even too "romantic" for a Child.
