Actual playable disk, which I borrowed at local library, is AWSOME! Brilliant, with a fantastic cast and marvelous staging. Five star all the way.

I BECAME TOTALLY LOST IN THE PERFORMANCE, FEELING THAT I WAS THERE, AS THE OPERA IS AN OPERA WITHIN AN OPERA. but get the bluray vs dvd if you can afford. this production deserves the highest resolution you can get.
