This book came highly recommended to me by a friend who went on the diet with success. She was using her book at the time so I decided to look for one for my own keeping. Alas, eBay had a few and at a good bargain to boot. The book contains a review of the original cabbage soup diet which also works though is less beneficial in some ways.It lists ingredients/recipe and explains why certain items are included in the diet. It is short, easy to use and can be used to jump start other long term diets.I lost 9 lbs. in 7 days while adding a large can of v-8 juice to the recipe . GREAT soup!!

I was stuck at the same weight for a LONG time due to a medication I must take. But the first week I used this cabbage soup, I lost two pounds...!!
