The Medallion

Jackie again does all his own stunts in this action comedy also starring Claire Forlani and Lee Evans.

I quite like this movie. Note that despite seeming like a Hollywood film it is actually a Hong Kong film shot in Hong Kong, Thailand and Ireland. I've been debating as to whether or not to give it 3 or 4 stars but I've chosen to go with 4 stars. The film itself has pretty average action and comedy, but the idea that this movie is really aiming to be something great appeals to me. The outtakes at the end of the film are also very funny.

The DVD has a very straight laced audio commentary- not that much fun but nonetheless informative. It also features a wide array of deleted scenes. I'm kinda glad the deleted scenes didn't make it into the film. Only one is worthwhile, and that involves Jackie Chan revealing that he is alive to Claire Forlani. It explores the history of the characters very well and it's a shame it was cut from the film. The medallion

Eddie Yang is a Hong Kong police officer cooperating with Interpol in the capture of a crime lord named AJ "Snakehead" Staul. The operation is headed by the officiously paranoid Agent Arthur Watson and also involves Eddie's girlfriend, a British agent named Nicole. The investigation leads the team to the kidnapping of a young boy named Jai, who holds the secret to a powerful medallion that gives its possessor superhuman powers and immortality. After a near-death rescue of Jai from drowning, Eddie is given supernatural martial arts powers, which assists him in tracking down Snakehead and putting an end to the arch-criminal's scheme. Comes Up A Little Short...

The trailer made this out to be another great Jackie Chan movie!

However it isn't as good as many of his other movies.

Jackie is back in action with this movie, which is yet another fast-paced martial arts action-comedy that Jackie is so well known for.

Jackie plays Eddie Yang, a Hong Kong cop who is working with an Interpol officer named Arthur Watson (Lee Evans). They join together in order to protect a gifted young child from harm.

There is a lot of action sequences in this movie, but the funny side of Jackie just doesn't come across this time. Must have been the plot or the writer as we love seeing Jackie in the movies!

Crazy, Funnier and Full Packages of Exciting Actions!

Very Serious Actions! Wars! Jackie Chan saves World and Peace Maker as usual. Worthy to watch. A lot of action-packed, excitements, some funnier, some sad and crazy. This is one of Jackie Chan's best movie. I recommend anyone to watch this movie and any Jackie Chan movies if you love Jackie Chan as his fan! This was a really great movie. The settings, actions, and acting in the movie are amazing. Jackie not only shows he can still fight, do acting as comedian and do stunts like before, he shows that he is an amazing actor. And I love his movie ending's bloopers - funnier. I bought this movie to complete my Jackie Chan Movie set since I have the first two Police Story movies I really believe these could be the best one because they not only have great action the acting is great to. I would recommend these movies to anyone who is interested in buying any Jackie Chan movies. You like Jackie Chan movies, you are truly a Jackie Chan fan.
