The Kings and Queens of England and Scotland book

I bought this book because of my love for all things British, and because I love to learn about the British monarchy. This book gives you a complete look at the history of the monarchy, starting with Alfred the Great, all the way to today's Princes Charles and William. It's a brief, yet specific description of each monarch, and gives facts and dates of significant events during each reign, such as when and where each monarch was born, when they acceded, where and when they were crowned, and where and when they died. Each page is bright with pictures and/or photographs, and it also boasts family trees of each royal house. The only thing I would say is a flaw in this book is that each description IS brief, and doesn't give many personal details of the monarchs. This book is beautiful and very well put-together. Overall, this is a good beginners book for anyone who is interested in Britain's royal families, and doesn't already have any knowledge of this subject.Lire l'avis complet...

It is an interesting book but don't expect volumns - it is a small capsule of information but worth the price of $50 plus s/h (LOL).
