You'd be crazy to NOT watch it!

This movie is one of a kind, and extremely funny. It looks at the world and the white Europeans of Africa through a Bushman's eyes. There is a scene at the beginning where the workday of the people working in a big office in a big city are shown and the narrator describes their actions from the point of view of someone who's actually describing what's REALLY going on,not the way the people perceive themselves. The "bad guys" turn out to be comically clumsy and stupid, and there are hilarious little touches all through the movie, with a decidedly British sense of humor. There are some interesting plot twists, and it all ends well. Clean humor, a glimpse into the simple but contented lives of the Bushmen and its sharp contrast with the "modern" lives of the other characters, simply and well-told and photographed. Classic!

This starts out slow, like an old documentary, but then very quickly it is apparent that it really isn't. The story and characters are fun and engaging. One of the greatest cute plots I've ever watched.

I've been searching for this movie for years for a good price, watched it about 25 years ago and loved it. Cute story, very light and entertaining. In the extras, it shows how the main character was picked for the part and how poorly he and his people actually live. He thought he could bring some prosperity to his neighbors by doing the movie. A very good title The God's must be crazy

This a very funny movie where the little bushman did not know where the bottle came from. There is entertainment through all the scenes. Also, when the teacher fell in love with the man.

Collecting Great Comedies while they are still available.!

The Gods must be Crazy,, an old film which was hilarious , and we continued to want access to it. I feel lucky to have gotten the Cd, and plan to leave a legacy of great comedies to one of my Grandkids... Well worth the price.

'The Gods are only Crazy, when you choose the Wrong One!

Although made in the early 1980's, the life lessons are still as relevant today, if not more so. You have to listen carefully, as the accents and soundtrack can be a bit difficult to keep up with, but hey, when you watch it again, you'll get it. All the best, God Bless!Lire l'avis complet...

I loved this movie and its characters, I purchased this copy as a backup if my original ever gives me problems.
A wonderful funny movie that can be shown to all ages. I have recommended it to many as a way to cheer oneself up. I believe it has Theropudic properties.

Husband says "A great comedy!"
