Great Game with a lot of Missions and a Hugh Open Map

This game is quite fun and will entertain you for hours. It has a main story, but there are a lot of opportunites for side missions. You main mission is to rise up through the ranks of your mob family. There are several main story missions where you have to drive and knock off people to advance. You can also take over enemy gang controlled areas (bars and stores) to gain more turf. Your eventual goal is to become the Don of the family. You don't have to take over all the enemy controlled areas to achieve this, but it is fun. Throughout the game you are paid for achievements. Great game

This is a great game and I’ve been playing it since it’s release but it was hard to find this copy. I still have a ps3 and play it often. It is a shame this game wasn’t made for ps4 or ps5 or an updated system. Even though I had seen the movie many times and played through this game multiple times. It doesn’t seem to get old for me. Great Condition and alot of fun like I remembered

You helped me relieve my childhood. I remember playing this game as a kid on the Wii. My grandfather got me the movies for Xmas one year. Best mafia game to date!!!

Did you like grand theft auto? Do you like the Godfather? If you answered yes to both questions, buy this game. I didnt really like the pace in grand theft auto, in the Godfather, it moves along at a great pace. I beat the game without the desire of using any cheat codes. The story is taken from the movie and the book, so you get immerssed into the world of the Godfather. The score is great, mobface, allows you to create a look for your character, so you can get close to getting your face in the game. The controls for driving are great, the fighting good, the strangling top notch, and over 20 execution styles. Your character is upgradable along with your weapons. Have fun with extortion, racketeering, negotiating, contracting hits, and so much more. The gunplay takes some getting used to, but works well in a fast fire-fight. Oh did I mention the bribing of cops, cheifs and FBI. Create your own mob wars and move into the family and work your way up to the Don. Earn respect and build your character to be a lean mean killing machine. You can even change clothing. EA took GTA and Paramont took Godfather and had a beautiful kid. Get this game today. Classic game about a classic story

I love that I can still get these older games that I had as a kid. Was a little expensive for a used game but all in all I think it’s worth the price.

The Godfather Don Edition (PS3)

Around this time last year, EA made its first entry into the genre of open world games with The Godfather, a PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC release that aligned players with the Corleone family. Six months later, the game made its way to the Xbox 360 with a slew of additional features and content. And now, the most famous kingpin of them all has made his way to the PlayStation 3.

The Godfather: The Don's Edition includes all of the content of the enhanced Xbox 360 version of the game, and adds a bevy of new features as well. From Sixaxis control to Hit Squads to rooftop fights to unique family compounds and more, this is a much bigger game than we saw in the initial release. Does that make it better? Most definitely. Does that make it more impressive? Not exactly. With the game's port to the PlayStation 3, one would expect a little more polish here and there, especially with regards to the visuals, and we didn't see that. Still though, this is certainly the best version of the bunch (unless you happen to prefer the Wii version's unique control scheme), so if you haven't picked up it previously, it's definitely worth a look.Lire l'avis complet...

Enjoyable for its age

I played this years ago on original Xbox.

Controls aged poorly, given I've been playing PS4 games for a while, but otherwise it's still a fun GTA clone of the time

Holy crap I love it

I bought this because a friend has it on "her" X-Box, well she has The Godfather not "the Dons edition". Without a doubt get "The Dons Edition" It has so many more features than the basic game...note X-Box dosen't have this kickbutt edition only the PS3.

Get the game and it will give you 60 hours of missions to complete. You have a lot of driving to do but it gives you the choice to complete missions within missions with no time limits. If tou like the GTA games then get this.
PS I play everyting on my 52" samsung TOC flatscreen my charters are always 18" tall and you can see for miles. this really helps when playing Call of Duty.
