Timely Reading for Those Who Really Wish to Conserve...

Wolf's writing is the de facto tresise of our current time. A must read for those of us who claim to be "conservative" yet allow the blatant raiding of the hen house! The slow boil of corruption has been cooking at the liberty that we have been fighting to retain for over 200 years. In seven short years our nation has nearly turned into the empty shell about which Wolf warns. Nine Tenths and counting- read the two Naomis today. Naomi Wolf and Naomi Klien are the "Paul Revere's" of our day. Let us pray to our God- in whatever fashion we choose that this experiment in Democracy transcends the crime and profiteering of this current Administration. Mack Davis needs to re-write his old hit tune of Lubbock Texas in my rear view mirror to mention Crawford Texas in place of Lubbock. Excellent, concise and extremely scary

This is a very readable book on the 10 steps governments always follow when they try to shut down democracy. It is what is happening right here and now. It's not news for those of us progressives who follow politics and read the real news you won't hear in the main stream media. I would, however, highly recommend this book to give as a gift to people (like my sister) who are republicans and/or have no clue what's going on in this country and/or who don't normally read non-fiction. what did i like about this book? it addressed problems that we have as our government changes to a Fascist government run by big business. it lets us commoners in on what is actually happening. you read it then look around you, you will see exactly what she wrote happening. i think she is a new version of Ayn Rand as far as being able to see truth through lies of propaganda that we are buried with daily. i think everyone should read this book. get informed. and realize they are trying to grab a lot more then your junk. a lot more.Lire l'avis complet...

A book to change your point of view.....

This book has been a major wake-up book for me. Naomi Wolf is such an amazingly effective writer and gets her points across with the utmost grace and intelligence. Her study of history and how it is, once again, repeating itself, is most relevant for every American to understand. In a nutshell, this book says it all... tells the scathing truth about our faltering nation. We must regain it!

Naomi Wolf's book, "End of America", is an honest critique and asessment of what is going on in this country today, under this current administration, especially with the shredding of our freedoms under the "Patriot Act", and other chilling things going on as such.
