Interesting but clumsily formatted from a readers perspective.

Interesting however somewhat more focused on the societies and clubs that were known to have introduced the ideas of the said entities rather then the study of the things themselves. Not to say they are excluded but it's in alphabetical order and something of a muddled compilation. Very detailed information and wonderful historical accounts. It is a very very nice book. I bought it cause I wanted to learn more about the topic.... After reading this book I decided to buy the other books written bye Rosemary Guiley. I love it
