Ho Hum- Same story- different title!

When I was watching this movie, I found myself going through a mental list of what I needed to do the next day, what we were going to have for breakfast the next morning and hoping this movie would end soon. Wesley Snipes is about exciting as watching the rinse cycle on a washing machine, the plot is so convoluted and incoherent, and the action sequences look like they came out of a movie catalogue.

Instead of buying or renting 'The Detonator' from '06 why not watch Wesley's earlier '00 film 'The Art of War' instead. Why you ask? Because it's virtually the same movie. Wesley Snipes is now a C.I.A. agent instead of a U.N. agent, he's in Poland instead of New York and the beautiful woman he's protecting this time is Russian instead of Chinese. The Detonator (2006, DVD)

This is another of Wesley Snipes action packed movies. Mr. Snipes performs excellently in the film. The acting, Directing and scene setup fits perfectly well together. this action takes places overseas with the CIA, and the other country criminal elements and how they will go to get what they set out to do or get the results. mr.snipes has many problems going on, he is wanted in the united states, then he gets in trouble in the other country but has to stay there to assist with a witness and protect her. i recommend this movie to all that collect mr. snipes action films.Lire l'avis complet...

Filled With Action

As only a Wesley Snipes movie can be..Snipes plays a CIA operative protectin a beautiful Russian from gun runners who had already killed her hubby, or did they?? This film will have you guessing usually wrong..as usual Snipes one liners were delivered with precision as was the shoot out scenes and the car chases..fun fun fun! The ending was a complete surprise and one I rather liked..Not a good film for anyone under 17..I give this film 5 out of 5 bars!!Lire l'avis complet...

20 Years for Wesley Snipes!

In this movie Detonator, Wesley plays a CIA agent who must protect this woman from Russia. Quite interesting. He is in the midst of arm dealers and at one point you think the Russia Lady is on the wrong side. You don't know who to trust. Great Suspense, Drama and Action.Lire l'avis complet...
