Public Morality Down the Tubes in 25 years

Even though I've read plenty of Clinton-bashing books, I wanted to read this one because it is different. If reflects the change in attitude of the public. 25 years ago when President Nixon thought about covering up and lying, the press hung him out to dry. When President Clinton lied and covered up, the public decided that it's OK to lie because it was "just about sex", thereby agreeing that such action is perfectly acceptable now. This reflects the total change in the publics' moral attitude in what is acceptable behavior for our country's leaders and themselves. I remember my first thought when Clinton was elected into office: this country is in worse shape morally than I thought. I absolutely could not believe that someone who'd had a scandalous public affair could get elected when in the past, this would ruin the career of any politician. This book only confirmed my first thought on election day 1992.Lire l'avis complet...

Not a Clinton fan

I am not a Bill Clinton fan. I knew he was the biggest liar coming down the road, along with his wife. How anyone can believe a word that comes out of either of their mouthes I don't know. Mr. Bennett confirmed all my feelings even when I was taking the news reports with a grain of salt. Here is a man who started out a fan and saw the lies come out. To all those who sing his praises you should read the book. He had so many chances to do this country good but chose instead to lie & cheat. He has no integrity, morals or manners.
Go ahead, vote for Hillery and get them back in the White House and watch them line their pockets and sell this country out. This book is proof positive.
