Good Movie Of A Better Book

After reading the book, I was like, "Wow, they should make a movie." Unfortunately it didn't turn out as good as I had planned. The book is indeed much more thorough and in my opinion it holds your attention better.
In retrospect however, if you have not read the book, you may find this film absolutly brilliant. The people who I've watched this movie with either are disappointed or in love with plot and need to read the book.
Heres what it's about:
A two man crew get a hunch and decide to try to make some dough in the business of dogsledding. In the non-traditional way these characters are based, they steel the poor tired dogs and hit the snow. The main character somehow finds himself having a connection with the smartest dog of the pack. They become good friends and bond throughout the 94 minute movie.
Overall, I 'd say if you've liked movies like, 8 Below and White Fang, this one is a must for you. Contrastingly, if you've read the book and think you're expecting to much from this movie, you may not be satisfied.

Terrible Remake of a GREAT novel!

I was so disappointed in this DVD! I purchased this movie so that my 6th grade class could watch it after reading the novel. When I previewed this there were several foul words with in the first few minutes. I wanted to have them compare and contrast the book and this DVD. Why would someone take a good children's novel and ruin it with a bunch of filth??? I can assure you it doesn't make for better entertainment!Lire l'avis complet...
