Early 80's gorefest
I bought this obscure movie because of something I had read on a Zombie website about it.
Technically it does have some zombies, but its certainly not a zombie movie. Its more of a haunted/possessed hotel movie. I think when it was released, it was pretty disturbing because of things like focusing on the texture of gore for an uncomfortably long time. 3 or 4 "eye popping" scenes. I didn't find it scary, or even really believable, but in some spots the special effects were pretty good for the time. There are a few scenes that are shocking. If you like vintage gore/surrealism, you'll like this movie, otherwise, I'd say buy something else.Lire l'avis complet...

THE BEYOND DVD I PURCHASED RECENTLY WAS A WASTE OF MY MONEY - TO ALL BUYERS OUT THERE DO NOT BUY VERSIONS THAT ONLY RUN 82 MINUTES LONG. THESE ARE THE RATED & EDITED VERSIONS OF THE ORIGINAL MOVIE THAT RUNS FULL 89 MINUTES UNRATED. PLUS THE PICTURE TRANSFER IS HORRIBLE & FADED. EVEN THE VHS UNRATED VERSION THAT I HAVE OWNED FOR YEARS LOOKS MUCH BETTER & IT ALSO HAS ALL THE SPECIAL FEATURES INCLUDED IN COMPARISON TO THIS 82 MINUTE CHOPPED VERSION - WHAT A A WAY TO RUIN A CLASSIC MOVIE - AGAIN ATTENTION ALL BUYERS BUY THE 89 MINUTE UNRATED VERSION!!Lire l'avis complet...
