Rarely does a greatest hits album encompass a ten year career so thoroughly as this one does. It is also rare that a group does mostly covers of songs and becomes the beacon of that genre. PP&M had a very special charisma, a bold and beautiful sound right out of the gates. What cinched me to buy was the inclusion of Dylan's "Too Much of Nothing", a masterpiece of sound dynamics and soulful depth. Say what you want about this groups commercial appeal, because they were given the banner to wave and wrapped it in neon, drawing fans of folkies who otherwise would have treated this music as a fringe curio.Lire l'avis complet...

It was suppose to be new ... it skips in about 3 or 4 spots on the disc. Answered NO because of the skips.

It skipped in about 3 or 4 spots .. that is why I answered NO to the above. It said it was new when I bought it … makes me wonder.

Easy listening from the past.....

Peter Paul and Mary have a unique sound...there music is sweet and easy listening. Some "classics" awaken memories..remember Puff, The Magic Dragon? You can't help but sing along to "Lemon Tree" and "If I had a Hammer". Great album to kick back and take it easy ...Enjoy!Lire l'avis complet...

Love it, with the passing of Mary, another legendary vocalist has disappeared. This CD is replacing my original purchases with renewed enjoyment.
