Go for original 80s CD

The movie is interesting sequences of footage but really as without a storyline it could be. The album gives a more coherent impression, and is very charming as well. This is the place to enjoy Strawberry Fields Forever in a natural setup.
I would however try to find the original 80s CD, and avoid the digitally remastered version as the results are quite dissapointing along with the other Beatles albums. Signals are compressed, there are no forte parts, just a high level of volume troughout, Ringos characteristically distorted cymbals are not improved, just taken away.Lire l'avis complet...
