Easy to read and understand subject matter. O.k. pictures and diagrams. Bought this book due to interest in subject matter, only dislike was that this didn't have the detail and information that I was looking for. It didn't stand out from the other blacksmithing books I have bought. Whick is what I was looking for in a book. The Art of Blacksmithing by Alex W. Bealer - Great Book

This is one of the best references for learning or practicing blacksmithing. It is the one referred to as the "Blacksmith's bible." It has much more complete information than the rest.

The other one I love is "The Backyard Blacksmith: Traditional Techniques for the Modern Smith" by Lorelei Sims, in which all the basics are covered with good photos. The whole array of technical details are not covered, though, so buy both of these books!Lire l'avis complet...
