Compelling! Whole family will love!
Great for all ages. My son had this Illustrated Bible years ago, and even I understood things better when I had a visual image of the characters, their clothes, the landscape, etc. The pictures really brought the scenes to life! I hadn't really paid much attention to the short verses in the Bible about the young gang mocking Elisha's bald head (and their consequence!) until I saw this picture! It has always stuck with me! Excellent rendition of the Greatest Book of all time
We've read the Bible thru several times in various translations. This is a WONDERFUL addition to our collection! It reaches out to such a varied age group! It holds the attention of adults & children alike! Artwork is beautifully done! The author did a Great job of conveying the Bible story in such a condensed form without losing the deep meaning of Gods written word. Amazingly precise and keeps the readers attention, leaving you wanting more! Fantastic way to introduce 'starters' to God's word or to make it easier for people that have problems comprehending some translations as well as a joy for seasoned readers to feel they are part of the unfolding adventure held within it's pages! This Bible is designed for teens but I love it as well. I have been reading the Bible daily since I was 16. I am now over 60 and still read my Bible daily. Good for dyslexic readers
like new book. Very happy that my 9 year old dyslexic son who hates books finished the whole Action Bible with in days. It captivated him and began reading it again. Very good for picture thinkers.
