A terrific book about a unique and terrifying sporting event.

Why would people choose to participate in a sporting event that has claimed the lives of literally hundreds of people over the years, and terribly injured myriad others? This great book goes a long way towards providing an answer. Here is an in-depth, beautifully written, examination of Isle of Man motorcycle racing, and some of the unique individuals who choose to take part in it.
