Not terrible and does work and really cheap

I like this calculator and the price and all, but sometimes the thing won't turn on even with the batteries in there. I've been thinking something's wrong with it but it takes too long for it to come back on and also the screen can be very hard to see sometimes, you have to constantly keep changing display in order to meet the room your inLire l'avis complet

Great calculator to use for basic and Intro to Algebra. Easy to use also has a clear screen to see well. The size just right to handle!

Speecheless quality for the price

The calculator has almost no scratches, the screen displays all pixels, comes with everything, no engravings, and no wear on the buttons, all for $6. I could not recommend this anymore.

The 81, the most straight forward grapher

The 81 is great for your student who is getting their first graphing calc. It is also good for more advanced functions as well. It is simple to use, more straight forward than any other I have used. As I mentioned, it will get you through your trig and basic calculus. There are other more advanced models if you are going further into the sciences - though this one will work - if you take it that far with the 81, it surely will - because you can make it work.

If you want the expanded stats/chemistry/etc functions - you will need a little higher model, though if you know your way around the 81, you should be ok.Lire l'avis complet

The calculator works, the keypad and display are in good condition. Though in my opinion the TI-81 itself (feature wise) is kind of mid.

Ti-81 is great!

Ti-81s are the best value algebra calculators. If you need to upgrade, try an 86 or 89, which also have great value for their price.

small problems

I am saying that it is of good quality but there was a partial line out in the display. At least we can use it.

oldie but goodie

Bought to replace old one with failing display. It is a used unit but 100% operational and clean.
Can't beat the $20 price. Of course the screen display technology is old but useable.
