Two great puzzle games from yesteryear

Dr. Mario and Tetris are best known as NES games, cementing them in pop culture as those games you had to play. But if you missed out on them on their first go on Nintendo’s home console, the SNES ports do them more than enough justice.

Although the sound chips and graphics are different, each game is well translated to the new hardware, keeping those familiar songs intact. Best of all, you play Tetris Vs. Dr Mario, making for a weird mashup that is weirdly enjoyable.

For about $20, this is a steal. It might be bare bones compared to other SNES titles, but what you get are three fantastic game modes with endless fun to be had.Lire l'avis complet...

A Great Puzzler

It is a really great game, and a fun time waster...

I do enjoy Dr. Mario a lot, and it';s good that Tetris comes with it too...

Everything looked in good condition from the cartridge and manual, but too bad the box was more damaged than most, but that's ok...

As long the game works and it did and I just loved it...

And hopefully will have a lot of hours and future play times with it and even has a late game session just to enjoy the series of games,,,Lire l'avis complet...

Heavyweight with good features.

In terms of pros, the cartridge works along with both games being present and it saves space while looking good. As for cons, the presence of both games on one cartridge could make it seem cluttered and complicated while not providing that much of a separation between both components.Lire l'avis complet...

Dr. Mario great but beware the bait and switch!!!

Dr. Mario is my second most played game second to Ring of Red (PS2). To be certain I ordered this second copy and also a complete refurbished SNES from Lukiegames where their picture showed the SNES console (clearly identifiable) plus two controllers in the foreground with the name "nintendo" carefully photoshopped over each controller. This arrived to have aftermarket controllers...you know the terrible ones that do not work well..so I contacted Lukiegames for a refund and they said the photos were for reference only but I cost me $18 to get my $100 back. Good Tetris game

This game is as addictive as the original Tetris. There were some complaints about it, but none of them are true. This game is is own entity in the Tetris series. Definitely worth playing.

Great game and works 90% of the time.

We love Dr. Mario and could play for hours on end. The game is working for the most part although it is a little finicky and sometimes we need to restart the system a couple of times before it runs.

A Great Game!

I grew up in the fledgling years of the Nintendo generation, the first game I really remember playing being Tetris. To this day I still own the first generation of GameBoy and play Tetris on a regular basis. The Tetris and Dr. Mario combination game for the Super Nintendo system is a wonderful tribute to this early game. My friends and I used to have Tetris tournaments in college, all the more endearing us to the Tetris legend.

This game for the Super Nintendo has been able to occupy much of my time with its catchy music and bright colors. It truely is a strategy game that will forever stand the test of time, as is evident by all of the other forms of Tetris out there.Lire l'avis complet...

Addicting.

Great game and very addicting especially the doctor mario game. Sometimes I play it hours at a time. Definitely a good value.
