Great for Teens who like to shoot things up

Terminator Salvation is a great game for Teens who like to shoot things up. Not a game you can keep on your shelf. Once you beat it, that's it. No online playing mode, no versus mode or anything. Would be fun to adapt the gears or wall halo versus mode, but there no option for that. Maybe next game should have a Human resistance vs Terminators capture the flag or execution style versus mode. Co-op is fun but very slow loading even on xbox 360. I mean loading time takes 2 minutes, what is this? A playstation game? I can't wait that long to repeat a stage after i lost, by then I will have already forgotten my strategy to beat that stage. Only 11 easy achievements, 99% of it is earn from just completing the game. Beat it and sell it back, that's all I can tell you.Lire l'avis complet...

A great game you probably overlooked: Serious fun, and Unique too!

NOT SOME CHEAP MOVIE TIE-IN!!!
This game is so underrated; I cant figure out why that is.

First off, I concede the game is short (on easy i got through in a bit over 4 hours, but i suggest replaying on harder difficulties) and doesn't have much story BUT this game is alot of fun; Foremost it is unique in that it requires some thought and genuine strategy. Running and gunning will get you know where here
for those who have no clue what this game is or what makes it so great it can best described as being like Gears of War' with a attack strategy element involved. (impossible to just gohing that comes at you)
The added strategy component comes in here; Nearly all of the enemies cannot be attacked or even damaged from up front because nearly impenetrable armor; so using a cover system similar to Gears (but modified to 360 degrees so you can circle around targets) either you or your partner must get behind the machines (thats right, sneak behind them) and attack from behind where they are unarmored and thus vulnerable. Instead of charging straight on in with guns blazing (like in gears of war or that forsaken over rated COD franchise) you must encircle in your enemies to take em out while maintaining cover. I may have made it sound simple but it is really not. You really have to look at where you are, your environment, and formulate a strategy on how your going to take these machines out; because your no machine and just a few hits will take you down.

This is a low priced game, which has been unfairly overlooked and underrated but its something that I highly recommend. Being a terminator fan helps but its hardly necessary.

Some final thoughts:

This game has a very good AI system (if it didn't the game wouldn't work), both for the enemies and your virtual teammates if you don't have a actual 2nd player.

I REALLY LOVE this game, but I do admit to being a huge Terminator fan Regardless this game is for anyone who likes modern 3rd person shooters such as Gears of War. and wants a bit more of a challenge. Graphics are decent, controls are tight and perfect, this game really has alot going for it.
Again, reviews I've read have been very unfair. If it would have only been made longer and added internet play this game could have been a smash hit.

A overlooked gem!! (Seriously)

So go get this game on the cheap off ebay and be prepared to have a blast with a unique game most people never heard of (or at least made the mistake if thinking it was just a cheap cash in). Some team of developers really put a lot into this game, it wasnt just something pieced together and rushed out the door, it just lacks a little spit shine.

Not for one but two

This is an excellent game. FOR TWO PEOPLE! If you're playing it alone, I guarantee
that you will hate this game. Through the whole campaign mode I played it with my little brother, and his only complaint was that it was too short. Yeah there aren't many enemy types, the game can get repetitive, and the game is short. But with a friend at your side, you just seem to ignore those factors. I bought it just because it was two player co-op through the entire campaign, not to play alone, and I enjoyed it.Lire l'avis complet...

Not a bad game. I rate it "good" overall. It is however, an extremely short game. And it is pretty easy...which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you like :) Fans of the movie/other terminator games will enjoy this one. Terminator Salvation

Game play for this game was excellent but it had a weak storyline and the game was vary short. For a length reference it took me about five to six hours to beat the game on normal and I took my time. Multi-player was fun it is online co-op only. It is split screen as well. The controls are vary easy to understand. Good Game Based off Movie

Really simple layout of a game. We all know that movie based games are a little korney to begin with. But I love Termintaor movies and games all around. So it was pretty cool for me. great game

great game! very fun, but really short. would highly recommend. A must have for any terminator fan. Easy controls and easy to pick up. Great great graphics.

Fun Campaign!

This game has no multiplayer, only a single player campaing. It is a very easy 1000 gamerscore, and has controls similar to gears of war with the cover system!
