Great quality, inexpensive and durable receptacle
Very good quality receptacle, and at a great price! This is heavy duty and up to the task of terminating the 10-ga wires required for 30A circuits. I bought these after rejecting and returning some other cheap chinese brand that cracked when I tightened them down and had questionable terminating screws.
Surprisingly these were no more expensive than the Chinese brand, at $7.99 each, and equal to the quality of the brands in the local big box hardware stores that sold for $25 each. They also came boxed and padded, along with instructions, and screws, which the other brand didn't.Lire l'avis complet...

Great Quality / Great Price Electrical Outlet
From all appearances, this is a high-quality, 4-prong, locking outlet. The molded case is heavy-duty and the wire-lugs are also heavy-duty. I wired it up as an outlet from my breaker box using 10ga wire to give me a choice of 240VAC at 30A or two independent 120VAC at 30A in my garage. I built a 2-gang extension cord with GFI outlets to allow me to run two pieces of 120VAC high-current equipment at the same time. Both of my 120V welders tend to trip 20A breakers - problem solved with this 30A outlet. It looks like it will last years of use. I have a couple of other TEMCo products which I'm very pleased with so this was a no-brainer purchase.Lire l'avis complet...

Use for generator cord
I needed this to convert a generator cord to use for next year for 120 volts on each leg I will use only a double pole 20 amp breaker and that way it complies with the NEC.,

Screws are not recessed enough to assure protection against accidental arcing against the walls of a 2 1/4 inch box. Otherwise, satisfactory.
